Full Stack Developer (Founding Engineer)

Role Description

As our Founding Engineer, you'll have complete, end-to-end ownership of Koa's technical build — the patient app, the doctor app, and the backend that powers them. You won't just write code; you'll shape the product, make the key technical decisions, and grow with the company as it scales.

This is a rare chance to build a HealthTech product from the ground up and own a real stake in its success.

What You'll Do

• Build and own the patient mobile app (Android-first, plus iOS)
• Build the doctor mobile app
• Design backend APIs, database architecture, and cloud infrastructure
• Integrate audio/video consultations, payments, and OTP login
• Implement AI-based features and multi-language support
• Ensure secure, compliant handling of medical data
• Take our prototype to a production-ready launch

What We're Looking For

• Strong full-stack development skills (mobile + backend)
• Mobile: Flutter (preferred) or React Native
• Backend: Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node.js, with PostgreSQL
• Cloud: AWS, Supabase, or Firebase
• Experience integrating: video/audio (Agora/WebRTC), payments (Razorpay/Cashfree), SMS/OTP (MSG91/Firebase), and AI/LLM APIs
• Comfortable working independently and owning the full build
• Git/GitHub, clean code, and secure data practices

Bonus points for

• Proven experience shipping and launching products from start to finish
• Experience building for Tier 2/3 and rural India users
