Full Stack Developer – WordPress / PHP / Next.js

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in WordPress, PHP and modern front-end technologies including Next.js / React.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing websites, micro-sites and web applications.

The role will work closely with and support the Senior Developer / Website Development Lead as part of the existing Digital Media team.

Key Responsibilities

•

Develop and maintain websites, webpages and micro-sites.

•

Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates and functionalities.

•

Work on PHP and MySQL-based applications.

•

Develop responsive webpages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

•

Develop and maintain applications using Next.js and React.

•

Work on headless WordPress implementations.

•

Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

•

Develop and maintain website forms and integrations.

•

Troubleshoot website, application and integration issues.

•

Improve website speed, performance and responsiveness.

•

Implement technical SEO requirements.

•

Perform website updates, maintenance and security checks.

•

Test websites across browsers, devices and screen sizes.

•

Support ongoing website redesign, development and enhancement initiatives.

•

Coordinate with the Digital Media team for website-related requirements.
