Our platform works with the highest degree of analytical parameters to analyze any student based on their academic, behavioral and test-taking skills. And this, we are doing by building an open, agile and scalable platform for anyone to plug-and-play solutions, content, and ideas (think AWS for education)!

The team at Embibe understood that their strength is in building large, personalized and scalable systems which can spawn and support an ecosystem of diverse stakeholders like students, teachers, counselor etc. Hence we are focusing on two things — building a platform for anyone to use, and fostering partnerships to build use-cases and adoption. How to build a scalable, open, measurable and heterogeneous platform through microservices, offline native Android apps and collaborated with different institute partners is always a challenging problem.

Job Description

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

•

Developing new user-facing features using React, Redux

•

Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

•

Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

•

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills

•

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

•

Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

•

Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

•

Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

•

Familiarity with RESTful APIs

•

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

•

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

•

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

•

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

•

Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

•

1+ years of experience with software development

•

1+ years of experience with React.js

•

Experience with REST or JavaScript

•

Experience with Agile development methods, including TDD, CI, or automated testing

•

Ability to obtain a security clearance

•

B. Tech degree from a good institute

•

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
