Frontend Lead Engineer

The Role

As the Software Lead - Frontend, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of frontend engineers while contributing to the development of complex frontend features.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality frontend features
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
• Implement complex frontend features like reactivity and state management
• Act as a technical contributor to the project
• Implement accessibility features and ensure security measures are in place
• Contribute to building a highly reliable and performant product UI

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, React, VueJS) and related technologies (HTML/CSS)
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Exceptional communication skills, open to giving and receiving honest feedback
• Passion for building and maintaining robust, scalable software
• Experience in enterprise software development
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and take ownership of product quality
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience with RxJS, Node.js, Redux, React Native, and other UI libraries (e.g., Svelte, Solid)
• Passion for learning new technologies, with a strong mindfulness of the pitfalls of early adoption
