Frontend Developer – Digital Center

Ecolab Digital Center is designed to help Ecolab achieve its goal to make the world cleaner, safer and healthier, protecting people and vital resources by developing new digital capabilities to leverage across its global operations. Teams at the Ecolab Digital Center will work collaboratively with Ecolab IT & Commercial Digital Solutions associates around the world on cutting‑edge digital innovation to accelerate growth around key initiatives in analytics, application development and digital development. With your help we will develop digital solutions that help Ecolab customers achieve clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Independently own frontend development and take technical leadership of UI engineering.
• Highly hands‑on, deeply understand modern frontend architecture, and be familiar with the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Angular preferred; strong understanding of React.js and Next.js is a strong plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
• RxJS, State Management (NgRx or similar).
• RESTful API integration.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Version control systems (Git).
• Modular, scalable frontend architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and end‑to‑end testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and ownership mindset.
• Preferred: Working experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Exposure to server‑side rendering (SSR).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO for web apps, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
