Job Description: Senior Frontend Developer

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in React JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node JS, and is comfortable owning features end-to-end — from UI architecture to API integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React JS and TypeScript.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript code following best practices.
• Build and consume RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and contribute to backend services using Node JS where needed.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Own and improve frontend architecture, state management, and component design systems.
• Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in frontend/full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in React JS (hooks, context API, component lifecycle, performance optimization).
• Solid experience with TypeScript — strong typing, interfaces, generics.
• Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+) fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Node JS for building APIs/backend services.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and package managers (npm/yarn).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL integration.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/mobile-first design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices — testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress), code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good To Have (Preferred)

• Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monorepo tools (Nx, Turborepo).
• Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading a small team.
