Ninja Animation is a B2B animation studio that makes explainer videos for AI and tech companies — videos built to explain complex products simply and drive conversions, not just look good.

The Role

You will animate 2D explainer videos (typically 60–120 seconds) for AI and SaaS clients — from styleframes and storyboard to final delivery. You own the motion; we handle scripts, voiceover, and client communication.

What You'll Do

• Animate explainer videos in After Effects from approved storyboards and illustrations
• Design smooth transitions, kinetic typography, and UI/screen animations for tech products
• Sync animation to voiceover, music, and sound design
• Deliver structured revision rounds on schedule (2 rounds standard per project)
• Collaborate async with our scriptwriter and illustrator via Slack and Frame.io

Requirements

• 3–4 years of professional motion graphics experience, agency or freelance
• Expert in After Effects; strong in Illustrator and Photoshop
• A portfolio with at least 2–3 explainer or SaaS/tech videos you animated yourself
• Clean project files (organized comps, named layers) — others may pick up your files
• Reliable communication and on-time delivery in a fully remote workflow

Nice to Have

• Character rigging (Duik, RubberHose) or Lottie/web animation experience
• Basic Cinema 4D or 3D-in-AE skills
• Storyboarding ability
