About the company

We are building an early-stage sports-tech product at the intersection of cricket, computer vision, video understanding, and coaching workflows.

The first product focuses on converting cricket training footage into structured feedback for players, coaches, academies, and parents. More details can be shared after an initial conversation and, where appropriate, an NDA.

What you’ll work on

• Video understanding for cricket training footage
• Shot/action classification
• Pose estimation and movement analysis
• Object detection for cricket-specific objects
• Clip extraction and contact-event detection
• Model evaluation and failure analysis
• Data labeling workflows and QA systems
• Production inference architecture with cost discipline

Ideal background

• Strong Python and PyTorch
• Experience with computer vision, video ML, pose estimation, object detection, or action recognition
• Comfortable working with messy real-world video data
• Practical builder mindset: can ship systems, not just notebooks
• Strong debugging and evaluation discipline
• Interest in sports, coaching, biomechanics, or human movement is a plus

This is an early, hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can help shape the technical direction from the beginning and potentially join the founding team if there is strong mutual fit.

Full-time interest is preferred, but we are open to starting with a part-time or contract trial to establish fit.
