Role Overview

Genpact is looking for an experienced Flink Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache Flink, Kafka, Python, and Databricks to join the data engineering team. The role requires a strong individual contributor who can also collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink.
• Build and optimize streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Develop data engineering solutions using Python and Databricks.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering applications.
• Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and production support.

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink – Mandatory
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working as an individual contributor and team player

Good to Have

• Experience with Java
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
