Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation of Cloud FinOps framework, by working with stakeholders and reference industry best practices such as FinOps.org.
  • Budget and forecasting. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to establish cloud budgets and forecasts. Measuring actual spending, build show back or cost allocation reporting as needed.
  • Resource Usage Optimization. Identify opportunities for cost optimization like right-sizing, purging, and minimizing over-provisioning.
  • Cloud Rate Optimization. Optimize Cloud costs by tracking cost plans, Commitment based discounts, and enterprise savings plans .
  • Cloud Capacity Management. Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecasts monitoring and tracking of cloud capacity & resource mgmt. for all services
