Financial Assistant

Role Description This full-time Financial Assistant role is an on-site position based in Vasai Virar. The Financial Assistant supports daily finance and accounting operations, including preparing and processing invoices, recording transactions, and assisting with reconciliations. The role includes helping with financial reporting, monitoring expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies. The Financial Assistant collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve billing queries and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The position also involves updating financial databases, assisting during audits, and ensuring timely completion of routine financial tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
• Proficiency in invoicing processes, including preparation, verification, and tracking of vendor and customer invoices.
• Foundational knowledge of finance principles, including budgeting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience in accounting tasks such as ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with external partners.
• Comfort with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a finance or accounting support role in a corporate or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
