Position Summary
: Manager/Senior Associate in capacity of renewable energy financial expert will be responsible for developing and executing financial models and investment strategies for our diverse range of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, with specific expertise in solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive financial models to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of renewable energy projects.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and risk assessment for investment opportunities in solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and business development teams to integrate financial insights into project planning and decision-making.
Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform investment strategies.
Support the structuring and negotiation of financing arrangements, including debt, equity, and alternative funding mechanisms.
Provide ongoing support for project performance tracking and financial reporting.
Contribute to the development and refinement of financial models and tools to enhance decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field along with A Master’s degree (MBA/MSc Finance) or relevant professional certification (e.G., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in financial modelling and investment strategy, specifically within the renewable energy sector.
Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis for solar, battery energy storage, wind, green hydrogen, and CBG projects.
Strong proficiency in financial modelling software and tools, such as Excel and financial analysis software.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Understanding of relevant regulatory and policy frameworks impacting renewable energy investments.
