About AFIPL

Arthmate Financing India Private Limited (AFIPL) is registered as an NBFC with the RBI since May 2003. It operates under the brand name “Arthmate” and offers a bouquet of loan products to customers sourced by our business partners, fintech companies/financial institutions. It commenced its retail lending operations in December 2020. Arthmate does lending to the niche segment of low-ticket size, shorter tenure unsecured loans. It offers products like term loans, lines of credit, invoice discounting, personal loans, payday loans, education loans and bullet loans.

About the Role

Arthmate Financing (AFIPL) is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager/SM- Finance Strategy for the CFO’s office. The ideal candidate will serve as a key partner to the CFO, supporting decision-making, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless execution of the finance function’s goals. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and gain valuable exposure to high-impact projects within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data & Financial Analysis:
  • Perform in-depth data and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare insightful financial models and reports for the CFO and board-level discussions.
  • Key Accounts Management:
  • Manage daily relationships with banks, lenders and partners' operations teams for smooth disbursement and repayment processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and partner teams to resolve issues, escalate to customer success when required
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of MIS, accounting entries, and financials, ensuring timely closure.
  • Prepare and verify data such as portfolio cuts, collection efficiency, PAR movement, and bureau reporting.
  • Co-Lending and Debt Program Management:
  • Consolidate and prepare data for co-lending, debt partners, and rating purposes while maintaining detailed trackers of requirements.
  • Manage operational relationships, query handling, and documentation (legal/banking) with existing and prospective lenders.
  • Support regulatory reporting such as ALM, NPA movement, and book debt hypothecation data for lenders.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Management:
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to NBFCs.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to monitor updates and align with statutory regulations.
  • Perform data analysis and loan reconciliation and liaise with financing partners
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and manage high-quality reports and presentations for stakeholders, including investors, regulatory authorities, and leadership.
  • Streamline reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Project Management:
  • Drive and manage cross-functional projects within the CFO’s office to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and track progress of key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
  • Act as a bridge between the CFO’s office and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Liaise with the finance, operations, and compliance teams to align activities with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience across lending in an NBFCs/bank, focusing on financial analysis, data analysis, compliance, and reporting.
  • Strong background in financial planning, regulatory compliance, and management reporting.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
