Position: Finance Manager

Location: Chennai - Saidapet

Experience: 10+ Years

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor project profitability and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial schedules, including:
  • Accruals for Trade Creditors
  • Foreign Exchange Exposure
  • Debtors Aging
  • Retention Payables and Receivables
  • Prepare and present cash flow reports, work-in-progress (WIP) reports, and project costing analysis.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls in line with Group policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and approval processes.
  • Monitor compliance with Goods Receipt Voucher (GRV) procedures.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities for statutory, tax, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to Group Management within defined timelines.
  • Support ERP implementation, enhancement, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements through effective utilization of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Manage Direct Tax, Indirect Tax (GST), Customs Duties, and Transfer Pricing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian tax regulations and IFRS standards.
  • Support tax planning and coordinate tax assessments and audits.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers and contractors.
  • Monitor vendor outstanding balances and maintain healthy supplier relationships.
  • Support procurement teams with financial reviews and service follow-ups.
  • Partner with operations teams on project-related financial activities.
  • Provide financial guidance on customs duties, GST, and income tax implications.
  • Support HR-related statutory compliance activities when required.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and billing of clients.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Improve collection cycles and cash flow management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
  • Provide support on strategic and ad-hoc assignments from the General Manager and Group Management.
  • Be willing to travel across India at short notice based on business requirements.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
