Job Description: Senior Executive / Associate - Account OpeningRole SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive operational professional to join our Account Opening / Client Onboarding team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for seamlessly onboarding High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

  • Location: Bangalore
  • Work Mode: Strict Work from Office (Full-Time)
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Premium Broking operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding & Documentation• End-to-end processing of account opening forms for diverse client entities (Individuals, HUFs, Corporates, Trusts, and NRIs).
  • Meticulously verify Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) documentation.
  • Ensure accurate setups for Trading, Demat, and Wealth Management platform accounts.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration• Partner closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Counselors to resolve documentation queries and discrepancies efficiently.
  • Liaise with central operations, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.
  • Compliance & Quality Control• Stay updated on SEBI, RBI, and FMC guidelines regarding client onboarding and data privacy.
  • Conduct regular sanitization and maintenance of client master data.
  • Identify potential process gaps and suggest automation or simplification to enhance the onboarding turnaround time (TAT).

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications• Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience specifically in Account Opening / Client Onboarding / Central Operations within a Wealth Management firm, Private Bank, or Tier-1 Stock Broking house.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of KYC/KRA registries, CKYC, and documentation requirements for complex entity structures (Trusts, Corporates, PMS/AIF onboarding).

Key Skills & Competencies• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and document verification-zero-error tolerance for compliance.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal sales and compliance teams.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with core wealth management or broking platforms.
  • Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume quarter-ends.
