Job Title: Junior Project Manager & Training Manager Department: Human & Emotion Learning (H&E Learning) Reporting To: Director Location: Kolkata, India Employment Type: Full-Time Working Days: 5 Days a Week Job Description Junior Project Manager & Training Manager About Human & Emotion Learning (H&E Learning) Human & Emotion Learning (H&E Learning) is a modern learning and development organization focused on delivering industry-relevant learning solutions through instructor-led training, self-paced digital learning, corporate upskilling, and talent development programs. Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and execution-oriented Junior Project Manager & Training Manager to oversee learning operations, project execution, online course production, and training delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end training projects, coordinating with trainers and stakeholders, supervising learning initiatives, and ensuring smooth execution of both online and offline learning programs. The role requires excellent project coordination, leadership, communication, and operational management skills while working closely with the Director to drive learning excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Training & Learning Management Plan, organize, and execute online and offline training programs. Conduct New Joinee Induction and Orientation Programs. Coordinate technical, functional, and behavioral skill development programs. Manage trainer schedules and classroom logistics. Ensure high-quality learner experience across all training initiatives. Monitor learner attendance, assessments, and completion status. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements. 2. Online Course Development & Recording Coordinate development of self-paced learning programs. Manage end-to-end online course recording activities. Coordinate video recording sessions with trainers. Review learning content for quality, structure, and learner engagement. Work with content creators, instructional designers, and video editors. Ensure timely publishing and maintenance of courses on the Learning Management System (LMS). 3. Project Management Plan and execute multiple learning projects simultaneously. Create project plans, timelines, and milestones. Allocate resources based on project priorities. Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery. Track deliverables and project risks. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Conduct regular project review meetings. Prepare project status reports for management. 4. Team Management Coordinate daily activities of the learning operations team. Allocate work and monitor productivity. Mentor and guide junior team members. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. 5. Scheduling & Resource Allocation Prepare training calendars. Manage trainer availability and scheduling. Coordinate classrooms, virtual sessions, and learning resources. Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and infrastructure. Resolve scheduling conflicts proactively. 6. Data Management & Reporting Maintain training databases and learner records. Track project progress and completion metrics. Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports. Generate reports on: o Training effectiveness o Learner progress o Project status o Resource utilization o Course completion o Attendance o Trainer performance Maintain documentation and project repositories. 7. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with the Director on strategic initiatives. Coordinate with clients, trainers, universities, and corporate partners. Communicate project updates to stakeholders. Ensure timely resolution of operational issues. Required Skills Strong Project Management skills Excellent Planning and Organizational abilities Team Leadership and Coordination Training Operations Management Learning Management Systems (LMS) Scheduling and Resource Planning MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Workspace Data Analysis and Reporting Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Problem-solving and Decision-making Time Management Multi-tasking and Prioritization Attention to Detail Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Management, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR, Operations, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Experience 2–5 years of experience in Training Management, Learning & Development, Project Coordination, PMO, or Operations Management. Experience managing corporate training programs or educational projects is preferred. Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS), online learning platforms or EdTech environments will be an added advantage.
