Role Overview

We are looking for a highly disciplined, proactive, and hands-on Factory HR & Labour

Compliance Officer to oversee labour management, factory discipline, safety compliance, and workforce administration in a liquor manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong floor presence and is not a desk-based HR position. The candidate will be responsible for supervising two team members, maintaining workforce discipline,

enforcing company rules, ensuring compliance with factory policies, and taking immediate corrective action against violations.

A major part of this role is identifying non-compliance, issuing memos, recommending penalties, and ensuring strict adherence to company standards across the factory premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Labour & Workforce Management
• Supervise and manage factory workers, contract labour, security personnel, and support staff.
• Handle labour-related issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate with labour contractors and manpower agencies.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, absenteeism, and workforce productivity.
• Factory Discipline, Compliance & Memo Management
• Conduct regular rounds across the factory floor, production areas, warehouses,

and common areas.

• Ensure all employees are in proper uniform, wearing safety gear, and following company protocols.
• Identify violations of company rules, safety standards, discipline, hygiene, or operational procedures.
• Issue warning letters, memos, show-cause notices, and disciplinary actions wherever required.
• Recommend penalties and corrective actions for repeated non-compliance.
• Maintain records of all disciplinary actions and compliance breaches.
• Ensure strict implementation of company policies without exception.
• Safety, Housekeeping & Factory Administration
• Ensure compliance with factory safety standards and operational procedures.
• Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure factory premises remain clean and organized.
• Ensure garbage, waste material, and scrap are disposed of properly.
• Identify unsafe practices and coordinate corrective actions immediately.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits across production areas.
• Support management during audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Team Supervision
• Lead and supervise the two employees reporting to this position.
• Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor execution.
• Ensure timely completion of compliance, documentation, and administrative tasks.
• Drive accountability and discipline within the team.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, and Factory Administration experience.
• Excellent disciplinary management skills with the ability to issue memos, enforce penalties, and handle misconduct firmly.
• Strong observation skills, practical judgment, application of mind, and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Human Resources, Labour Welfare, Industrial

Relations, or related field.

• Knowledge of Labour Laws, Factory Compliance, and Industrial Relations.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Distillery, Liquor, FMCG, Chemical, or Production environments preferred.
