Position : Pastry Chef
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of baked goods such as pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts following established recipes and techniques.
Ensure all baking operations adhere to health and safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and place orders as needed.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and create new baked goods
offerings.
Maintain a clean and organized work station and baking area.
Adhere to production schedules and timelines to meet customer demand.
Perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
Requirements:
Experience as a Baker or pastry chef, preferably in a commercial kitchen environment for at least 1 year
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistently excellent baked goods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
efficiently.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Understanding, organising and executing production in a professional pastry kitchen
Flexibility on work timings - 6 day work week - 9 am to 6:30 pm
