Role
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources, including HR administration, compliance, and providing generalist support. You will work closely with the executive team and department heads to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
HR Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to, employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of personnel records.
- Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant labor laws and company standards.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and proactively implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Handle employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a positive work culture and resolve conflicts effectively.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop and implement employee development programs to foster talent retention and career growth.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes to assess employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze HR data to generate reports on key metrics such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and training effectiveness.
- Use insights from data analysis to drive HR initiatives and improve organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- MBA HR
- 8+ years of Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
- Adept at HR compliance, HR Administration, Generalist roles
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office suite.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
