edumerge is the governed operating system for Groups of Institutions. We run students, staff, and finance on one platform for schools, colleges, universities, and multi-campus education groups across India. 800+ institutions live and are growing fast.

The role

This is a dedicated closer, and the job is specific.

Our buyers are Trustees and Chairpersons of multi-campus education groups. Those doors are opened by our founders and by referral. You are not expected to arrive with a Trustee network, and you will not be measured on cold sourcing.

You drive everything after the door opens. Discovery across campuses, qualification, multi-threading into the CFO and academic leadership, demo strategy, commercials, procurement, contracting, close.

What you will own

• Groups of Institution (GOI) deals end to end, from first Trustee meeting to signature
• Trustee and Economic Buyer relationships, once introduced
• Discovery across 5 to 40+ campus groups, not one campus at a time
• MEDDPICC qualification on every deal, in HubSpot
• Partner co-sell with our channel partners

Who we are looking for

• 4 to 7 years selling software, SaaS, ERP, or financial services into education institutions in India
• You have carried a quota and hit it, and can talk about your number without checking notes
• You have run a full cycle end to end: discovery, demo, commercials, procurement, close
• You understand you are selling subscription revenue, not a project
• Comfortable with 3 to 6 month, multi-stakeholder, relationship-driven cycles.
• Coachable. You will get direct feedback from founders every week.
• Bangalore-based. Office-first, five days, with regular travel across South India.

Strong signals if you come from education fintech or fee financing or a payment gateway education vertical or education ERP and SaaS.

This is not for you if

• You have only sold to Principals and admin heads, never above them
• Marketing fed your pipeline and you ran demos off inbound
• You have sold books, uniforms, or physical product on annual repeat cycles
• You need a finished playbook to operate

100% fixed salary. No variable inside your CTC. Bonus on closures, separate and on top. ESOPs. Founders who will open doors for you and then get out of your way.
