Engineering Manager - Data EngineeringExperience : 10-15 YearsKey Responsibilities : - Lead and manage Data Engineering teams, driving delivery, technical excellence, and team growth.- Architect and build scalable data platforms using Databricks, PySpark, and AWS.- Oversee the development of ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, and workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.- Drive technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.- Manage project planning, sprint execution, stakeholder communication, and client engagements.- Ensure data quality, platform reliability, security, and performance optimization.Required Skills : - Strong experience in Data Engineering and Big Data ecosystems.- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and AWS services.- Experience with Apache Airflow and modern data architectures.- Knowledge of OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and large-scale data processing.- Experience leading engineering teams, hiring, mentoring, and performance management.- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 10-17 years of experience in Software/Data Engineering, including 3-5 years in Engineering Management.- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and leading high-performing engineering teams.
