Job Description
- We are looking for Electrical Harness Engineer with 4-8 Years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore.
- This is an immediate requirement. Please apply if you can join within 20 days or close to 20 days.
- Strong experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D models.
- Generation & handling of electrical harness Installation and Drawings.
- Basic understanding of Configuration Management w.r.t. Aircraft build process.
- DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
- A working knowledge of electronic and electrical components including connectors, retention devices and sub-components and mechanical components and their applications.
- Knowledge of one or more tools from the Mentor Graphics Capital Harness Suite (Capital harness, logic, library)
- Experience in handling PDM/VPM tools and link to CAD models with design in a context environment.
- Knowledge on the Electrical End to End process for the Aerospace domain is desirable.
- Understanding of Harness pre-definition and experience on Harness Topology or Morphology would be desirable.
- Awareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to demonstrate effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and customer- centric outreach.

Job Responsibilities
- The jobholder will be responsible for working on electrical harness pre-definition (Functional, Topology & Morphology).
- Ensure the data continuity for electrics design from functional electric design through harness pre-definition and to the 3D detail design.
- Work closely with Functional Design, Harness Manufacturing team and other related engineering departments to ensure the data is comprehensive and complete.
- Propose and implement digitization ideas through new ways of working.
- Reporting of all activities as per Airbus procedures.
