Digital Media Communication Executive at GIET University, Gunupur

Role & responsibilities

• Shall be responsible for entire aspects of digital/media publication and circulation.
• Develop and execute digital media strategies aligned with the University's branding objectives.
• Manage the University's official social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
• Create engaging content including graphics, videos, reels, stories, blogs, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate photography and videography coverage of academic, research, placement, cultural, sports, and other such institutional events.
• Plan and execute paid digital advertising campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
• Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and prepare periodic reports.
• Coordinate with academic departments, admission, placement, research, and other administrative units for timely content creation.
• Maintain consistency in the University's digital identity and branding.
• Assist in website content management and updates.
• Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, AI-based content tools, and social media algorithms.

Preferred candidate profile

• The candidate should have degree in management/Mass communication with 1 to 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
• The candidate should have good knowledge in digital publication and media circulation.
• Certification in Digital Marketing, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Content Marketing, or related fields will be an added advantage.

Salary

Shall be the best commensurate with experience and ability besides EPF + GIS + Mediclaim etc
