DevOps Manager

Role Summary

The Senior DevOps Manager is responsible for leading DevOps engineering teams in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure using GitHub. This role focuses on scaling delivery capabilities across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Stg, Prod) through automation, trunkbased development, and infrastructureascode practices.

You will partner closely with Application Development and QE teams to ensure consistent buildonce deploymany release pipelines supporting alternateweek or continuous production deployments.

Scope of Responsibility

• Lead DevOps engineers (5–12) supporting multiple application teams
• Deliver CI/CD platform capabilities for enterprise cloud environments
• Drive adoption of trunkbased development and release automation
• Enable deployment standardization across environments
• Support Azure cloud optimization and AKS operations

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Delivery Engineering

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Enable trunkbased development across delivery teams

Automate deployments across Dev Test UAT Stg• Prod

• Implement:
• bluegreen deployments
• feature flags
• automated release gates
• Maintain buildonce deploymany deployment model

Azure Cloud Platform

• Oversee Azure platform services:
• AKS
• App Services
• Storage
• Networking
• Key Vault
• Deliver infrastructure using IaC:
• Terraform
• ARM
• Bicep
• Implement deployment governance across environments

DevSecOps & Reliability

• Integrate GitHub Advanced Security or equivalent tooling
• Implement:
• automated vulnerability scanning
• policybased deployments
• monitoring using Azure Monitor & App Insights
• Participating in incident resolution and RCA processes

Experience Required

• 8–12 years in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• 3+ years managing DevOps teams
• Experience with :
• Azure platform engineering
• GitHub Actions CI/CD
• Kubernetes / AKS
• Trunkbased development
• Multienvironment deployment management

AI / Intelligent Automation (Optional)

• Exposure to AI/MLdriven DevOps practices such as:
• AIOps or predictive monitoring
• AIassisted CI/CD optimization
• Intelligent test automation
• GitHub Copilot usage for pipeline or IaC development
• Experience integrating AI capabilities within DevOps workflows or platform engineering initiatives is a plus
