Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in OpenStack to deploy, manage, and optimize private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Linux administration, virtualization, automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations, with a strong focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack cloud environments.
• Manage core OpenStack services, including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, and Horizon.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
• Ensure high availability (HA), security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with OpenStack deployment and administration.
• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Experience with KVM/QEMU virtualization.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automation using Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Open vSwitch (OVS), and Load Balancing.
• Experience with storage technologies such as Ceph, NFS, and iSCSI.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience managing production OpenStack environments.
• OpenStack, Red Hat, or Linux certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
