What You’ll Do
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, and ECS, understanding server vs. serverless paradigms thoroughly.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Bitbucket or similar runners, ensuring seamless integration and delivery workflows.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments to ensure high availability and efficient scaling on ECS or similar platforms.
- Design and enforce AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies, Security Groups, and network access controls ensuring robust platform security.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of networking concepts, AWS firewall rules, WAF, and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) configuration for secure, efficient cloud operations.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) following best practices to allow repeatable and auditable platform deployments.
- Continuously seek out process improvements and efficiencies through automation across all facets of the DevOps lifecycle.
- Proactively manage roles and accesses for internal developers and teams, ensuring the principle of least privilege is followed.
- Monitor system performance and implement automated alerts and remediation for high reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Engineers
What We're Looking For
- Profound understanding of cloud concepts, including when to use server vs. serverless solutions.
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, EC2, and ECS deployment and management.
- Deep expertise in Docker and deploying containerized workloads.
- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, Security Groups, networking concepts, firewalls, WAF, and VPCs.
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Bitbucket Pipelines or similar.
- Demonstrated history of striving for automation and process improvement wherever possible.
- Experience managing team access and permissions securely in a cloud environment.
- A mindset focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong documentation habits
Nice to Have
- Experience managing mobile automation workflows, testing, and release submissions via Codemagic or similar platforms for mobile CI/CD.
- Ability to write custom JIRA automation scripts for efficient build sharing and collaboration.
