DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes

Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru

Experience: 6yrs to 10 yrs

Skills: Kubernetes, Anthos, Google Anthos, Anthos Bare Metal, Anthos Service Mesh (ASM), Istio, NGINX, Port Worx

Role & Responsibilitie

s• Provide full lifecycle support to our internal Kubernetes platform, including provision, upgrade etc

.• Deploy Anthos Kubernetes on Bare Metal by setting up admin and user clusters

.• Install and configure ecosystem components like Anthos Service Mesh (ASM), Portworx, NGINX, and Anthos Config Management (ACM)

.• Perform Kubernetes cluster upgrades

.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster health and performance

.• Work on scheduled upgrades and maintenance, which may include weekends

.• Automate cluster deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using Shell scripting, python, Ansible

.• Improve reliability, quality, and time to perform IT changes

.• Conduct OAT to validate cluster performance, security, and stability

.• Implement best practices for cluster security, monitoring, and automation

.Requirement

s• Solid knowledge with practical hands-on of container and Kubernetes and surrounding ecosystems

.• Core competencies: Linux OS, Container, Kubernetes (Anthos) and Kubernetes components like Istio (Anthos Service Mesh), NGINX (as a Kubernetes Ingress Controller), Portworx (software-defined storage PVCs), ACM (Anthos Configuration Manager)

.• Engineering skillset to manage infrastructure as code, using shell languages (Bash), Python (preferred) or Golang, GitOps and pipeline

.• Experience with infrastructure support and operation automation following software lifecycle practice

.• Accept flexible working hours including work at weekend

.• Good written, oral, and reading in Englis
