Job Description & Responsibilities
As DevOps Engineer I, you will support the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with senior engineers and developers to learn and contribute to development, deployment, and engineering operations. You will gain hands-on experience with automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure as code.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code scripts and templates using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.Follow version control practices for infrastructure configurations and support consistent provisioning.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.Assist in automating testing, builds, and deployments to ensure efficient and reliable release processes.
Cloud Management
Assist in managing and monitoring cloud resources on AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms.Support resource utilization tracking and help implement cost-effective solutions.
Monitoring and Alerting
Help set up and maintain monitoring systems (e. g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system performance and availability.Support alerting mechanisms for timely issue resolution.
Security and Compliance
Follow established best practices for cloud infrastructure and application security.Support compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response
Assist in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.Participate in on-call rotation under guidance from senior engineers.
