Job Description DevOps Engineer Locations: Hyderabad, Telangana, India (On-site) Duration 6+ Months Contract Experience 4+ Years The role required working in EST Hrs, ie, 4:30 pm - 1:30 am IST Job Description: We're looking for a strong DevOps Engineer who designs, builds, and maintains scalable cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation. They streamline software and data delivery by managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring robust security and observability. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or a related field. 4-6+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on cloud, data engineering, or DevOps. Cloud Platforms: Strong, demonstrable expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Scripting & Languages: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Bash, or Go. DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git/GitOps practices. Database/Data Skills: Familiarity with SQL and data lake/warehouse architectures, as EXL heavily integrates DevOps with AI-driven analytics. Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and manage cloud foundation platforms using tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation. Pipeline Automation: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar platforms to automate deployments. Cloud Operations & Cost Optimization: Configure cloud services (IAM, VPC, EC2, Kubernetes) and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency and scalability. Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, least privilege access, data encryption, and compliance monitoring. Monitoring & Support: Develop robust observability, logging, and alerting frameworks using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch. Implement security best practices and integrate vulnerability scanning for source code, containers, and infrastructure within CI/CD pipelines. Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and configuration issues across cloud and application environments. Recommend and implement cloud resource organization, subscription structure, access controls, and governance standards. Collaborate with development and architecture teams to design secure, scalable, and cost effective cloud solutions.
