DevOps Engineer (Container & IaC) Bangalore · Full-time · On-site

About the Role The DevOps Engineer will own the Kubernetes platform, container supply chain, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, reliability, and SRE. The role requires technical accountability to the Tech Lead and delivery accountability to Expleo. The goal is to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploys and operates the Kubernetes platform with namespaces, ingress, storage, RBAC, and security configuration.
• Packages and deploys applications with Docker, Helm templates, and local GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Provisions and manages infrastructure as code using Terraform, with performance testing and tuning.
• Ensures platform reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
• Produces runbooks and deployment documentation, and trains local operators in DevOps best practices.
• Deploys and configures Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and centralized logging.
• Defines SLIs and SLOs for critical services and publishes monthly reliability reports.
• Owns SRE metrics and drives improvement sprint after sprint.
• Implements OT-adjacent security controls, including segmentation, egress rules, and admission control.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in DevOps engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Understanding of security controls, including RBAC, network policies, and secret management.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Strong understanding of DevOps best practices and ability to train local operators.

Good to Have

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secret management.
• Knowledge of OT-adjacent security controls and production-continuity engineering.
• Familiarity with store-and-forward and buffering patterns for observability streams.
