Job Description & Responsibilities
Designation: Deputy Manager – Finance Reporting & MIS
Job Type: Contractual (6 Months)
Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Tal. Mulshi, Pune
Experience: 5–6 Years
Qualification: ACCA/CA Qualified
Shift Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Working Days: 5 Days (On-site)
Mission of the Job
Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis while ensuring compliance with IFRS and organizational reporting requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial reporting processes and procedures.
- Ensure timely submission of reports as per global reporting formats, IFRS packages, and business requirements.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end closing.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain required information for the timely completion of budgets.
- Prepare the annual budget, monthly operating plan, and financial forecasts.
- Perform financial analysis, trend analysis, and evaluate key financial metrics.
- Analyze financial statements and provide recommendations to improve overall business performance.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare insightful financial reports and presentations for management.
- Recommend initiatives to enhance financial performance and reporting efficiency.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Lead special projects and initiatives related to financial reporting improvements.
- Working knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
- Track and drive key financial KPIs, including Return on Sales (ROS), Free Cash Flow, Net Working Capital (NWC), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Soft Skills
- Strong knowledge of I-GAAP and IFRS.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- High degree of accuracy with a logical and structured approach to work.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and leadership.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
