Essential Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Apache Spark
• Python programming
• Cloud experience in AWS or Azure or GCP
• Strong SQL skills including complex queries and stored procedures

Mandatory Skills

• 5 to 12 years of experience in Big Data technologies
• Expert-level knowledge in Apache Spark
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Python
• Experience with distributed computing systems
• Proficiency in the Hadoop ecosystem including MapReduce, HDFS, and Sqoop
• Experience in stream processing using Apache Storm or Spark Streaming
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Proficient in querying tools like Hive or Impala
• Experience integrating data from RDBMS, ERP systems, and flat files
• Good understanding of NoSQL databases like HBase, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Proven expertise in performance tuning of Spark jobs
• Experience working with cloud data services on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Experience designing scalable and resilient Big Data solutions
• Experience working in Agile teams

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DataOps and CI or CD practices for data pipelines
