Data Scientist – NLP (Gurugram)

Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI to join our energetic team. In this role, you will take a leading position in solving complex challenges for our clients, with a unique opportunity to make an impact in different domain. You will own the development of internal AI products and steer client-focused projects, architecting and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions. This is a role for a hands-on practitioner who can drive projects from concept to production and mentor fellow team members.

Requirements

Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade NLP and Generative AI solutions.

LLM & Transformer Expertise: Deep knowledge of transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT, LLaMA, Mistral) and hands-on experience with advanced fine-tuning techniques.

RAG & Vector Databases: Strong practical experience designing and building systems using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with vector databases like Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, or similar.

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Python and core data science/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, Scikit-learn). Solid understanding of backend development principles and experience building APIs (e.g., Flask, Django) is highly desirable.

MLOps & Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with MLOps principles and tools, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploying scalable solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Problem-Solving Mindset: A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently, manage project priorities, and drive innovation from ambiguity.
