Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Data Scientist Interns to join our team at Avivo. In this role, you will work alongside our experienced data scientists to analyse data, build predictive models, and extract valuable insights to support our business objectives. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in data science, allowing you to develop your analytical and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis:

Assist in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.

• Model Development:

Help build and validate predictive models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.

• Data Visualization:

Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data findings and trends to stakeholders.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

• Documentation:

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including data analysis processes, model specifications, and results.

• Learning and Growth:

Engage in continuous learning and skill development, keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.

• Experimentation:

Participate in the design and execution of experiments to test hypotheses and improve our products and services.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with programming languages and tools commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Eagerness to learn and apply data science best practices and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or project experience in back-end development.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Interest in AI-driven tools and contract management solutions.
