Data Scientist

Role Overview

• Train and mentor internship batches of college students and fresh graduates.
• Deliver practical sessions on Python, SQL, Statistics, and Data Analysis.
• Teach Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and basic AI/GenAI concepts.
• Conduct live coding sessions, hands-on labs, and technical workshops.
• Guide students through real-world projects and capstone implementations.
• Resolve coding, SQL, and machine learning-related technical doubts.
• Mentor students individually and in groups to improve learning outcomes.
• Track attendance, assignments, assessments, and internship progress.
• Manage multiple internship batches and maintain student engagement.
• Prepare training materials, assignments, quizzes, and case studies.
• Design practical exercises using real-world datasets and industry scenarios.
• Keep the curriculum updated with current industry trends, cloud basics, and MLOps awareness.
• Evaluate student performance through coding tests, assignments, and project reviews.
• Support students in building GitHub portfolios and project presentations.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python programming
• Good understanding of NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn
• Strong foundation in statistics and probability
• Good command of SQL and database concepts
• Knowledge of data cleaning, data preprocessing, EDA, and feature engineering
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, random forests, and model evaluation
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Python visualization libraries
• Basic understanding of deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI concepts
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, Git, GitHub, and VS Code
• Basic awareness of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred
• Knowledge of MLOps basics, model deployment, APIs, or Streamlit/Flask will be an added advantage

• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and time-management abilities, with a patient and student-centric approach to doubt resolution.Self-motivated problem solver capable of engaging students, fostering collaboration, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

Educational Qualification -

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with strong practical knowledge and training experience may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Data Science Trainer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, ML Engineer, Teaching Assistant, Mentor, or Internship Coordinator.
• Experience handling college students, internship batches, workshops, bootcamps, or technical training programs.
• Experience working on real-world data science or machine learning projects.
• Minimum 6 Months - Maximum 1 year of experience.

Key Performance Indicators

• Ensure high student engagement, attendance, timely module completion, and successful batch completion with effective mentoring and doubt resolution.
• Deliver measurable learning outcomes through quality project submissions, improved technical skills, positive student feedback, and timely reporting/coordination

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
