About The Position

As a Data Scientist, you will analyse real‑world sensor data to develop statistical and machine learning models that extract insights, improve system behaviour, and enable predictive intelligence across Ronnach’s products.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Design, train, and validate statistical and ML models.
• Analyse time‑series, spectral signals, and physical measurements.
• Build data pipelines for analysis and experimentation.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and model explainability studies.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and R&D teams.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and model behaviour.

Depending on Your Experience

Junior (0–2 years)

• Implement statistical/ML models under guidance.
• Prepare and structure experimental datasets.
• Run exploratory analyses and validation experiments.
• Support data collection in lab environments.

Mid‑Level (2–4 years)

• Lead end‑to‑end analytical workflows.
• Apply advanced feature engineering, time-series, and probabilistic modelling.
• Improve model robustness and interpretability.
• Coordinate integration with engineering teams.

Requirements

Required

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, CS or related.
• Strong Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn, SciPy).
• Solid understanding of statistics and data modelling.
• Experience with sensor data or time‑series analysis.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• PyTorch / TensorFlow experience.
• Signal processing or spectral analysis background.
• Knowledge of Bayesian modelling or filtering.
• Experience with IoT/edge data.
