Role Description The Data Science Faculty will design and deliver classroom-based sessions, labs, and projects that help learners build strong foundations in data science and related tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning curricula, preparing teaching materials, conducting lectures, facilitating hands-on exercises, and guiding students through real-world case studies. The faculty member will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, mentor students on interview preparation, and update course content in line with industry trends. Collaboration with other faculty and the academic team to refine program structure, develop new modules, and contribute to workshops or bootcamps is expected. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in core data science areas such as statistics, probability, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency with tools and languages commonly used in data science (for example, Python, R, SQL, data visualization libraries, and notebooks).
• Experience designing or delivering curricula, lesson plans, or training programs focused on data science or related fields.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, support diverse learners, and facilitate interactive, application-oriented teaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide structured feedback and mentor students for placements.
• Familiarity with industry use cases, analytics workflows, and current trends in data science and AI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience as faculty, trainer, or instructor in technical subjects, especially data science, is highly preferred.
