Data Science Mentor

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct classroom and lab sessions on core data science topics for computer science students.
• Deliver lectures and workshops covering Python, statistics, machine learning etc. based on modern and evolved curriculum design
• Guide students on academic projects, assignments.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to help students understand industry expectations.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support learning improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic coordinatorsto enhance course delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries

like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc.

• Sound understanding of statistics, machine learning, data cleaning, and

visualization techniques.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A passion for teaching, mentoring, and working with students.
• 2-year service agreement or submission of original certificates
