Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Science Faculty role based in Vishakhapatnam. The Data Science Faculty will design and deliver classroom sessions on core data science topics, including statistics, programming, data analysis, and machine learning. The role involves creating structured curricula, preparing teaching materials, assignments, and assessments tailored to placement-focused outcomes. The faculty member will mentor students, clarify concepts, review projects, and provide feedback to improve their technical and problem-solving skills. Additional responsibilities include staying current with industry trends, collaborating with other faculty on program improvements, and participating in workshops, bootcamps, and exam preparation sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of data science, including statistics, probability, data analysis, and exploratory data techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn).
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and practical application of supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience designing curricula, developing teaching materials, and delivering engaging classroom or online instruction in technical subjects.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, adapt teaching styles to varied learning levels, and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a student-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Industry or project experience in data analysis, analytics, or machine learning applications is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working with educational technology platforms and tools for content delivery, tracking progress, and assessments.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with trends in data science, AI, and tech hiring practices.

Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Data Science or a Computer Science-related Field , with both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) degrees in the same or a closely related field (cross majors will not be considered).
