Data Mining Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for a Data Mining Associate to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will

be responsible for supporting data research, database development, data enrichment, and

campaign operations. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate,

timely, and high-quality data for business development and marketing initiatives.

The candidate should have relevant experience in data mining, strong knowledge of MS

Excel and Google Sheets, database management skills, and the ability to work effectively in

a fast-paced and growing technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Research
• Identify and collect relevant company and Point of Contact (POC) information from

LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, industry databases, and credible online sources.

• Research decision-makers and relevant stakeholders based on defined business

requirements.

• Perform manual research when automated tools or databases do not provide

sufficient information.

• Data Management & Quality
• Clean, validate, enrich, and maintain databases.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of company, contact, designation, email, Contact

Number, POC Linkedin and other relevant data.

• Identify and remove duplicate, outdated, or invalid records.
• Maintain data in Google Sheets.
• Campaign Operations
• Prepare and organize data for email campaigns based on defined target segments

and business requirements.

• Support the planning and execution of email campaigns while ensuring proper data

segmentation and accuracy.

• Maintain campaign-related data and coordinate with relevant teams to address data

requirements.

• Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and other teams for data

requirements.

• Understand campaign and prospecting requirements and prepare relevant datasets.
• Share updates, issues, and data-related insights with the reporting manager.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain daily/weekly data mining and activity reports.
• Track data collection, validation, enrichment, and campaign-related activities.
• Process & Continuous Improvement
• Follow defined SOPs and data quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection, validation, and database

management processes.

• Explore and learn new tools and techniques to improve productivity and data

accuracy.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables,

Conditional Functions, filtering, sorting, basic excel formulas and basic data cleaning.

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and database management.
• Strong data mining, online research and data collection skills.
• Familiarity with data research and prospecting tools such as Apollo, Lusha,

ContactOut, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SignalHire, ZoomInfo, RocketReach,

YAMM, and Mailmodo.

• Basic understanding of Python and Google Apps Script.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• 1–4 years of relevant experience in data mining, lead generation, online research,

database management, or a similar role.

• Proven experience in data mining, lead generation, or a similar research role,

preferably in the BFSI industry.

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and database management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collect and validate data manually when required.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities effectively.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience in FinTech, NBFC, BFSI, or a related industry.
• Experience working in a growing technology organization.
• Prior experience with data research, lead generation, email campaign operations, or

database management.

• Knowledge of relevant data research, prospecting, and campaign tools.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Google Apps Script for data-related automation.
