As an Data Engineer at Kyndryl, you'll be the architect behind the high-performance data infrastructure that powers our autonomous systems. We aren't just moving tables we're building the real-time pipelines that allow agentic AI to reason over the world's most complex enterprise environments.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. Together, we can make a difference in the world of cloud-based managed services.

Required Skills and Experience

Python: Strong Python skills for developing and maintaining data pipelines writes clean, efficient, and testable code.

Data Engineering: Experience with data pipelines, ingestion processes, SQL, and data modeling.

AWS: Hands-on with AWS services such as IAM, S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Firehose, EventBridge, and CloudWatch understands distributed data systems.

CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, and deployment workflows.

Quality Focus: Validates outputs, tests pipelines, and ensures high-quality deliverables.

Experience with Terraform, tfsec, and infrastructure security best practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Data Platforms: Experience with Teradata and/or Starburst.

Data Integration: Familiarity with Fivetran, Salesforce, and API-based integrations.

Operations: Experience monitoring AWS environments and incident management.

Understanding of cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.

Scala: Exposure to Scala for data processing and pipeline development.
