Data Engineering Lead

We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead to act as the bridge between global leadership and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication, smooth execution, and early identification of risks or issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead coordination between leadership and distributed data teams
• Provide mentorship and support to engineers and analysts across pods
• Drive Agile delivery as Scrum Master / Delivery Lead
• Ensure effective collaboration across engineering, governance, analytics, and reporting teams
• Maintain consistency in data definitions, modeling practices, and reporting outputs

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading global or offshore data delivery teams
• Strong Agile / Scrum experience
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, and governance tools such as Microsoft Purview
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Primary skills: Data Engineering, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Power apps, Dynamics 365, Delivery management and Scrum (agile)

Work location: Chennai

Experience: 16-20 years
