- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (only from Top colleges)
- 1-3 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Hands-on expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data processing, analytics, and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and lakes.
- Optimize performance and efficiency of data workflows and storage systems.
- Ensure data quality and reliability through monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and technologies.
