Data Engineer (AWS Glue + Java/Spring Boot)_5+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data integration pipelines using AWS Glue.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
• Develop, enhance, and support Java/Spring Boot microservices integrated with AWS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production applications and data pipelines.
• Work with services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, and RDS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident resolution, and production support activities.
• Follow CI/CD and DevOps best practices for application deployment.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue (mandatory).
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, and RDS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for ETL/data engineering.
• Experience developing Java 8+/Spring Boot microservices.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of production/application support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Spark or Glue Spark Jobs.
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging services.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
