Data Analyst Intern – Growth & Strategy (Performance Marketing)

We're looking for a curious, analytical, and tech-savvy Data Analyst Intern to join our Growth & Strategy team. In this role, you'll work closely with Performance Marketing, Strategy, and Business teams to transform data into actionable insights that drive customer acquisition, campaign optimization, and business growth.

This internship is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving business problems using data, automation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze campaign performance data across Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and other marketing platforms.
• Build and maintain dashboards to track key business and marketing KPIs.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets.
• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing user behavior, campaign performance, and conversion funnels.
• Generate insights on CAC, CPA, ROAS, LTV, CTR, CVR, retention, and customer cohorts.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Assist in A/B test analysis and measure experiment outcomes.
• Automate recurring reports using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
• Present data-driven recommendations to Growth, Strategy, and Performance Marketing teams.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Charts, Power Query).
• Basic to intermediate SQL (Joins, Aggregations, Group By, Window Functions preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) is a plus.
• Understanding of statistics and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and digital marketing metrics.
• Experience with Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Final-year students or recent graduates in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Internship, certifications, or academic projects in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, SQL, Python, or Digital Marketing Analytics.
• Understanding of Performance Marketing concepts is an added advantage.
