Cost Accounting Manager

Job Purpose

To provide accurate and timely cost-related insights to relevant stakeholders for new business development, business case evaluation, and support of existing business operations, thereby enabling informed decision-making and profitability improvement

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for existing and new products for RFQs.
• Conduct cost analysis and support business case approvals for New Product Development (NPD) projects.
• Prepare Zero Based costing
• Conduct cost analysis for Make or buy decisions.
• Perform financial evaluations of projects and strategic initiatives as required by management.
• Support profitability analysis and decision-making through financial modelling.
• Drive automation of costing and management reporting processes.
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards to support leadership decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance responsiveness to market dynamics.
• Identify cost optimization and financial savings opportunities through data analytics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to implement approved savings initiatives.

Educational Qualifications

• CMA (Mandatory)
• MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution preferred
• Advanced qualification in Finance, Cost Management, or Business Analytics preferred

Experience Required

• 3+ years of work experience in costing, financial analysis, or business analytics.
• 5+ years of work experience in a similar manufacturing organization (auto-ancillary/industrial)
• Strong experience in management reporting, business performance evaluation, and profitability analysis.
