Computer Vision / AI Engineer (Full-Time, On-Site)

About the Role

At BOA XR, we're building a Geometric Intelligence Engine: a system that digitizes physical objects and reasons about how they fit within constrained volumes. This goes well beyond standard object detection into genuine volumetric analysis. You'll own core parts of the perception and optimization pipeline and see your work ship in a live product.

What You'll Own

Blind measurement: use depth/stereo computer vision to produce an accurate bounding box (L×W×H) for arbitrary objects on a surface, with no prior training on that object class.

Constraint solving: design algorithms that take a set of variable 3D dimensions and compute the densest possible arrangement within a fixed volume.

State comparison: build logic that measures a computed ideal state against the observed physical state to detect geometric deviations.

Your own infrastructure: set up, deploy, and run the servers behind this pipeline yourself. You own your work end to end, including in production.

What We're Looking For

• ~1–3 years in computer vision, robotics perception, or a closely related field, or demonstrably equivalent hands-on capability.
• Strong Python and/or C++.
• Hands-on experience with OpenCV and the Point Cloud Library (PCL).
• Solid grounding in combinatorial optimization and computational geometry.
• Ability to stand up and run your own servers independently.
• Comfort moving from an ambiguous problem statement to a working system.

We care more about what you've built than where, or whether, you studied. If you can build it, we want to see it.
