Role Description The Company Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Namakkal. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

The Company

Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate recording of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities. The role includes monitoring cash flow, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Accountant will also ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid skills in spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
• Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control practices relevant to FMCG or similar industries.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in an on-site environment in Namakkal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience as an accountant or in a finance role, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing, is beneficial.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
