Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commerce Graduate, Article Student, and Tally Accountant based in Ranaghat, with some flexibility for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accounting records in Tally, handling vouchers and ledgers, preparing basic financial statements, and assisting with tax and compliance documentation. The role involves supporting senior accountants with audits, reconciliations, and data analysis, as well as organizing client files and responding to client queries in a professional manner. The position is designed to provide practical training for article students and early-career commerce graduates while contributing to the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Commerce and basic accounting principles; familiarity with Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
• Analytical skills to interpret financial data, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies accurately.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with team members and engaging professionally with clients.
• Customer Service and Sales orientation to understand client needs, provide support, and contribute to relationship-building.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or ongoing commerce studies; article students or CA/CS/CMA aspirants are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
• Prior internship or practical experience in accounting or finance is an advantage but not mandatory.
