Cloud Leader - DevOps (GCP and Automation)

The Senior Cloud Engineer (L3) will lead the design, implementation, automation, and security of cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong architectural understanding, and the ability to guide teams in building secure, scalable, and automated cloud environments. The engineer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive cloud modernization, enforce security standards, and optimize cloud operations.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 5+ years on Google Cloud Platform.

Deep expertise in GCP services: Compute, GKE, IAM, VPC, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions.

Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.

Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash).

Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance.

Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, compute, storage, and Kubernetes.

Experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Good to Have

GCP Professional certifications (PCA, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer).

Experience with multi‑cloud (AWS/Azure) or hybrid cloud.

Knowledge of SRE practices and reliability engineering.

Exposure to data security, DLP, and regulatory compliance in finance or healthcare.

Experience with service mesh (Istio), API gateways, or advanced networking.
